Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Kairoo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of Service

Kairoo is a help center and knowledge base platform that allows you to create, manage, and publish support content for your customers. The Service includes article management, AI-powered features, analytics, inbox management, and embeddable widgets.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you create and publish through Kairoo (articles, responses, images). We do not claim ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to host, display, and distribute your content solely to operate the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to publish any content you upload. You must not publish content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful.

5. AI Features

Kairoo offers optional AI-powered features (article suggestions, draft replies, AI chat). These features use third-party AI providers. AI-generated content is provided as-is and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and approving any AI-generated content before publishing.

If you use Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) mode, you are responsible for compliance with your AI provider's terms. Kairoo stores your API keys encrypted and uses them solely to make requests on your behalf.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications

7. Payment & Billing

Some features of Kairoo require a paid plan. Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your dashboard settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless you request an export.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kairoo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
